Your shop is already on the map
Cyclists use Rapid Chain to find a bike shop near them. Your shop is listed because it appears on OpenStreetMap and public sources. Claim your page, free, to put the right details in front of them.
What you can add
- Opening hours, so “open now” is right.
- An out-of-hours number for stranded cyclists.
- Services, such as repairs, hire, wheel building, demo bikes and e-bike motor service (Bosch, Shimano STEPS, Yamaha, Avinox).
- The Cycle to Work and bike-leasing schemes you accept.
- Brands you sell or service.
- Photos of your shop front and workshop. A clear shop front helps people find you.
How to claim
- Sign in with your email. We send a 6-digit code. Use an address on your shop’s own website domain and your claim is approved straight away.
- Find your shop. Search by name or town and press Claim.
- Edit your page. Save, and cyclists see your changes straight away, with a green tick for “Confirmed by the shop”.
Using a different address, such as Gmail? We check the claim by hand and email you.
Questions
Does it cost anything?
No. Claiming and editing your page is free.
Where does my shop’s information come from?
OpenStreetMap contributors, public sources such as your website, and you once you claim. We never publish your email address.
Cyclists emailed us. Why?
If a cyclist finds every nearby shop closed, the app can email them. You can reply to the cyclist directly. Every email has a one-click opt-out. Claimed shops are not emailed.
My shop isn’t listed.
Add it in the Rapid Chain app, or email contactus@rapidchain.co.uk.
Can I have my listing changed or removed?
Yes. Email us and we will correct or remove it.
